The Purdue Exponent, Yo

Our school paper, The Exponent, strives to publish all the letters it receives in an effort to give everyone a chance to speak their mind, but this is absolutely awful. Some things to look out for as you read:
-the headline says Purdue 'student' when the writer is in fact an alumnus
-use of the word 'broad'
-someone graduated from Purdue and still writes like this...

Student thanks buddy for help
On Feb. 17, while on the Northwestern bus, a brother hit the STOP button for me and I want to say thanks. I thought he was getting out too and so I didn’t think anything of it. My bad. Good looking out though. And oh, one more thing, why is it that that one broad from College Hill, what her name iz, um Brittani... When you see her walking around, it’s like WHOA but then when you see her up close it’s like OHHH. It’s an enigma, yo.
